PHOENIX is dissolving decades of misanthropic anger — connecting me back to real life, one rest day at a time

I've been in this mindset for many decades — steering clear of people, activities, and commitments. I've done this most of my life, and it's made me feel quite detached, even from myself. Phoenix has been activating in all the good ways I want. It's pulling me to happily take responsibility for my life — and most are the minute-by-minute situations where I've blocked out others' needs and desires. Emotional disconnect: Phoenix is strengthening my mind and clearing up my "normal to me" thoughts. I'm connecting to real life, and it feels so freeing. I live in a house with a 92 year-old man who I rent a room from. I've been scornful, hateful, and nasty about him day in and day out. He represents the me I despise, put bluntly. I walked in the house, looking for war to start. He smiled kindly at me. And there was no war. No battle. Phoenix is working on me, and when it straightens out my thought process, the effect is incredible. That continual hatred steadily dissipates.
