Woke up to the most poetic love message I've ever received — then noticed my own resistance to it.

I woke up to the most loving message from the man I'd spent the night with. Very poetic and profoundly loving — I've never received anything like that before. I did notice my old beliefs lingering with some resistance: "Why would someone want to say such beautiful things to me? What's the catch?" The sub seems to be surfacing exactly where the self-love needs work, right alongside the beautiful experiences it's drawing in.
