5-Minute Loop, Then I Understood Japanese Without Subtitles

This is faster than I thought. I listened to a quick 5 minute loop, then went on with my day. Later I was scrolling and got on a funny video — "if Bollywood movies were dubbed in Japanese" — and for some reason I was laughing my ass off until I realized I understood most of the words without needing subtitles. I've had 15+ years of anime exposure with only basic conversational ability. This shift was unexpected and immediate. Japanese is going to be my main target language from here.
