Luck factor is a cheat code — parents gifted tolls, dad paid tags, training got me a free hotel.

It all started with help from my parents. I had to go an hour away for training — my mother just decided to give me money to cover the tolls a few times. My dad decided to pay for my license tags as an early birthday gift — one less thing to worry about. For training I originally didn't qualify for a hotel by distance — I was short by one mile. I told my trainer and he decided I should just get one, emailed corporate, and I got the hotel paid for for three nights. Best part: originally it was going to be tomorrow and Wednesday, but since someone who had a hotel did a no-show, they gave me that one instead — so I got it for tonight too. Since for today I drove back home to pack and came back, I got both the mileage and food allowance. I ended up making money all because someone no-showed. The luck factor in this is a damn cheat code.
