A social media friend fell in love with me and cried when I set a boundary — after one week

I had an experience where a new social media friend fell in love with me to the point where they couldn't stop thinking about me or professing their love to me. I had to kindly assert a boundary. They actually cried a bit and haven't spoken to me since. We only spoke for about a week.
