I'm developing female friendships characterized by deeper conversations and genuine interest. I'm being more authentic and open, which is certainly helping things progress — I just don't feel as closed off anymore. Multiple women are investing real effort into these connections, showing up for each other, inviting each other to events. One friend who couldn't make it reached out and said, "Hey, I can't come but what are your hobbies — we should all do something." These connections feel rooted in authenticity and emotional support rather than obligation. I'm sharing vulnerably without adopting a victim mentality, and the genuine care coming back is something new.
