Modeled a songwriter I can barely see — created one of my best songs.

I can't speak for how it works, but I've utilized it to model a songwriter/producer that appears in public very little, with no videos of them. Since I've already listened to them a lot, I had a baseline understanding of them and their style. I was able to construct my own image of what I think their personality is and how they work. From there, I spent 3 days listening to the same song, trying to understand it subconsciously since I didn't have much conscious understanding to go off of. A few times I'd listen with RAIKOV playing in the background. After a few days I attempted to recreate the deeper idea I felt that a song had. It had the same style and underlying idea, but quite a different execution. Someone that heard both mine and the original said that they think mine vastly improved on it, and also didn't sound too similar until I pointed out a stylistic decision with the chord progression. That could either be my own style bleeding through or just that my image of them in that instance was off, but I'll find out as I model more. EDIT: Both from mine and other people's opinion, it was one of my best songs, so I accomplished my original goal with that. So overall, I'd say it still very much works, you just have to use your imagination a little more to fill in the gaps, and maybe spend a little more time meditating on your model's works. Being able to tie their style back into the work they've produced makes it very easy and a little fun. I ended up with a new mental location I can go back to whenever I want to think from their point of view, since I had to do a lot of imaginative work to fill in the gaps.
