My posture is impeccable — shoulders back, upright back, chest up, and I don't feel the muscles straining to do so. I feel taller every day I wake up. My base gait is faster and my upper body swings more freely. I don't move out of the way unless necessary — I have my share of the way, you have yours. There is always a destination and I walk with intention. I'm beginning to feel unphase-able. Confidence, calmness, nonchalance are building up. Banter doesn't get to me. I smile when actually annoying or frustrating things happen. My voice is projected as the new normal — people keep turning at work when they hear it. Some get startled. I was told to try voice acting. The mindset: nobody is going to save you, it's all in your hands if you just move. Some girls spontaneously just developed a crush for me. People try to engage me more. They are kinder and tend to seek my approval. Nobody tries to test me or disrespect me anymore. People are changing toward me — and to them it's all normal, like it's always been this way.
