My boss's boss called me a veteran today. I've only been at the company four months. This is the second time I've been compared to seasoned salespeople here — the first was when I got introduced to company VIPs early on. Female attraction is heating up significantly. An entire new group of female trainees walked onto the sales floor and stared me down — every single one looking at me like they were "ready for action," including one I thought had lost interest. A female supervisor who ignored my greetings twice is now speaking to me first and hovering around me for no reason throughout the day. One coworker came over while I was writing in my journal, wanted a hug, and deliberately glanced at my phone screen as she left. I can see her through my peripheral vision constantly — standing or sitting, she's watching. This is the curiosity phase, right before infatuation.
