CFO Paused — I Stepped In. No Sweat, No Hesitation.

In a steering committee meeting, the CFO paused when the CEO asked a financial question. I spontaneously stepped in with the correct answer — something that would normally have made me anxious. I didn't sweat at all and was completely calm; all the nervous physical reactions are entirely gone. The confidence carried into a later team meeting where I made jokes comfortably, naturally. The biggest change I notice: I'm much less in my head. I go about my day focused on what's in front of me. Despite nothing objectively changing in my circumstances, life feels more manageable and time passes more quickly.
